Time, Trouble And Money

These were sent to me by Jeremy from Sarasota in the U.S.A. thanks to him for that.

These were done by Macca for two lads from Scunthorpe.

With the third picture, Macca painted one of them again but
the second time but got the coluors the wrong way round
the green should be reversed with the gold.. whoops!

Time, Trouble And Money

AN UPDATE!!!!
From Mark Brough (Brad) the author of the book Time, Trouble and Money via email, thanks to Mark.

"The "Time Trouble and Money" twin GP's were sprayed by Macca at Leeds for me and a mate back in 1982,

each scoot was a twin of the other, apart from the four panel murals which depicted a wrecked scooter

in a scrapyard, scoot bits in a spray shop half done, a half built scoot and finally the finished scoot in all its glory.

At the time I was No1 of the Scunny Roadrats SC. I sold my twin onto a lad called Tim Wheldon from Burton On Trent around 1984

and I believe he owned it when Macca redid the scoot in gold and green.

The other twin was eventually cut down, resprayed blue and sold around different people in Scunthorpe.

The owner kept the original panels until recently, when they fetched almost £400 on Ebay, another Scunny

lad in the present Silhouettes SC bought them, with the intention of recreating the scoot again, exactly how it looked in the 80's.

My Time, Trouble and Money twin ended up staying in the Midlands. I have tried to track it down but without success.

Several people have tipped me off with snippets of info, it was last taxed in 2005 and I was told this year in the IOW,

that it was owned by a lad in Shrewsbury, but wasnt roadworthy & stuck in a shed.
