As also quoted by Tony, "My friend Russ Sutton had “that little bit extra” painted around 1981 on an Innocenti 1970 GP.
At the time, it was probably the most complex lettering and striping job Macca had done.
Ralph Saxelby did the 225 engine/vw reverse cone/amal setup. He used it at the youth club as a girl magnet!!
The red/black and silver paint had two murals of racing bikes painted on the panels.
I bought the bike off him in 1986 after he’d had it laid up for 5 years due to working in Spain.
Ralph Saxelby redone the engine for me and I used it until it went “pop” on the M1.
The scooter was swapped for a px125efl and finally ended up on the next street, where it still resides in a garage of a
ex- member of our scooter club who hasn’t ridden a scooter since 1991!!!
My main memory of it, was the sun sparkling on the flake and the terrible matt red finish under the the frame!!
