After a journey of over 3 and a half hours we finally arrived at the Bretby Conference Center
and what a sight, scooters everywhere, definetly more than last year.
Having arrived late, we quickly got the scooters in the show and then booked into our rooms.
After having a browse around the scooters and stalls, we discovered the bar, (good thing to discover!!)
This was were we stayed for the next few hours until it was result time. Nick won Best Vespa with
his Faithful Friend and Neil was plesantly surprised to pick up three trophies, Best Street Racer,
2nd for Best Paint and 2nd for Best 80's. With the scooters back in the van, and a new sign on the van
(thanks Gatecrashers!!.....he he) we headed for a local pub for grub and the rugby.
After the rugby and more beer, it was time for a quick shower and change, then back to
the bar which was now downstairs. This is where things start to get abit blurry, possibly due to drinking??!?!
Sunday morning and up early for breakfast, and this was possibly one of the best breakies we have ever
had on a scooter event. ith the keys handed in and the rooms vacated it was off home on another 3 hour trip.
If you have never been on a Burton Brewers Free Do, then wake up and smell the coffee, brilliant do as usual,
thanks to the organisers well done again.
