After getting split up on the way Buzzy & Rob stop to wait and have
a fag/piss break in some dodgy "A" road layby, nothin odd there you say??
Well as Rob is doing said pee he spots a G string on the verge? then another
then a blouse & skirt, weird!, only to turn round to find Buzzy has found a curly WIG,
after breaking a stick from a tree to pick said pantie's up with, Rob turns around
again to see Buzzy dancing in the layby with the wig on his head.
The van then appears and the panties fly through the air only to land on Neil's
wind screen, after laughing like kids we sort ourselves out and decide
its time to get a move on, robs slings the pants into the on coming
traffic and jumps in car to find Buzzy still with his new hair??
Entering Burton we look for our hotel, easy we have Sat Nav.
As we book in we are met by the manager! name of Steve but we can call him MARIGOLD?????
gay and fucking proud, its 10am rooms not ready but bar is open! o'dear.
After 5 or 6 pints we leave Buzzy's new best mate(marigold), chuck gear in rooms
& head for the show to meet up with our northern member Nick Pegg.
Looking round the Custom Show we see a few new bikes we hadn't seen before
(snap on racer & brown sugar) both stunning then head to the bar for some liquid refreshments & a chat.
Later on its trophy time, with high hopes we weren't disappointed as Nick gets best vespa
& Neil gets best AF racer, we then say some "see ya laters" & push DTC21
back to hotel (couldn't ride as pissed).
Once back at the hotel car park DTC21 goes in the back of the van & we find a
case of beer in there waiting for us? The Nottingham Gatecrasers then join us
with another case of the stuff! messy.
Pissed but very happy its time for the night do so we head that way.
Whoever the DJ was we salute you, he played the best set of music heard on a rally or anywhere
for a very long time, loads of dancing or stumbling was done then it was all over again.
With that we head home to the hotel & marigold's company, only to find the hotel had a nightclub
free to residents, after even more beer there, Rob has had enough (bed)
but finds Buzzy already in his bed (last seen in club chatting to marigold.)
Morning! After eating a really shit breakfast its time to head off home.
Thanks to the Burton Brewers for a great day & nights entertainment,
we will definetly be back next year with more scoots for the show, perhaps.
